Michigan State University Extension and the MSU Center for Regenerative Agriculture present the 2026 Regenerative Agriculture Winter Webinar Series, a free six-session virtual program from February 10 to 26, 2026, held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00–7:00 p.m. ET. Designed for farmers, landowners, conservation partners, and professionals, it delivers practical strategies to strengthen soil health, protect water quality, and build resilient farm systems.

Sessions cover: Feb. 10 - Grazing in Cropping Systems, integrating livestock to improve soil and cut costs; Feb. 24 - Strategic Tillage & the Gray of “No-Till,” balancing disturbance with health; Feb. 26 - Growing Native Plant Seeds, diversifying income via ecosystem services. Additional topics include residue risks/rewards for spring soil temperature and seed environment, cover crops in perennials like orchards/vineyards for weed suppression and biodiversity, and lake associations-farmer partnerships for water quality and trust.

Registration is free until Feb. 25, 11:59 p.m., with interactive expert sessions providing actionable insights. This series supports Michigan's regenerative efforts, complementing MDARD programs like soil assessments, RFNG grants up to $50,000 (due Feb. 27), veteran farms, and climate-smart funding. It empowers participants to apply principles—biodiversity, living roots, minimal disturbance—in diverse operations, aligning with state goals for sustainable, profitable agriculture amid climate challenges.
