Join us at Redwing Ranch in Gardner, Colorado, for Grazing Management, a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground grazing management workshop designed for women+ working with livestock or land. This immersive experience will equip you with the tools and confidence to evaluate land, build a grazing plan, and understand what it takes to run a profitable grazing operation—whether you own cattle, lease land, or offer custom grazing.
Led by experienced Redwing Ranch educators and hosted in a collaborative, welcoming setting, the weekend includes classroom learning, real ranch math, pasture walks, and practical tools you can take home and use.
Participants will:
Learn how to calculate stocking rates and stock days per acre (SDA)
Use Web Soil Survey to evaluate forage productivity
Practice grazing planning and enterprise budgeting
Explore lease and custom grazing strategies that actually pencil out
Walk away with a toolkit of Redwing Resources to use in your own context
This workshop includes on-ranch lodging, chef-prepared meals, and a deep dive into regenerative, number-driven ranching.
