Join world-renowned stockmanship educator Curt Pate for a hands-on, two-day workshop on practical livestock handling — from the corral to the open landscape. Learn techniques that improve cattle movement, reduce stress, enhance grazing distribution, and build a more resilient ranch operation.

This workshop is open to old-timers, new-generation ranchers, and anyone curious about working with large herbivores — whether you come on horseback or on foot.

Monday Evening — Meet & Greet Kick things off at Terminal Gravity at 5:30 pm for a casual meet-and-greet with Curt — good conversation and a great way to warm up before the real work begins.

Tuesday: Meet at Lightning Bolt Ranch, Tippet Corrals on the Zumwalt Prairie at 10 AM. If you are registered to bring your horse, you must be able to get it to the venue.

Wednesday: Meet at Lightning Bolt Ranch, Tippet Corrals on the Zumwalt Prairie at 9 AM. If you are registered to bring your horse, you must be able to get it to the venue.

Space is limited: 10 horseback spots & 30 on-ground spots. Horseback spots are first-come, first-served.

We will be providing lunch, light snacks, and water. Please bring a water bottle to refill.
