This program is offered through University of Idaho Extension to provide a unique opportunity to learn about and document regional water issues.<br><br>Participants who have completed the <a href="https://keeplearning.uidaho.edu/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&amp;courseId=1028228&amp;courseTitle=idah20-master-water-steward-online-course" target="blank" rel="noopener">free, self-paced online course of study</a>, plus the <a href="https://keeplearning.uidaho.edu/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&amp;courseId=1028265&amp;courseTitle=idah20-master-water-steward-practicum" target="blank" rel="noopener">practicum ($60 workshop fee</a>) become certified Master Water Stewards, and can start monitoring a local stream or pond, and uploading their data to our online map and hydrologic information system. All the data is publicly available via our interactive mapping app and <a href="https://idah2o.nkn.uidaho.edu/search-biological" target="blank" rel="noopener">hydrologic information system</a>.
