Cover Crops in Grazing Management- Winter Workshop on Soil Health - Dec 2026

📅 4 December 2026 | 📍 Greenbush Educational Center, 947 W 47 Highway, Girard, KS, 66743, United States
Cover crops in grazing management is going to the topic covered at this free event. Please register for lunch purposes. K-State Extension is sending James Coover as our opening speaker. Followed by Ethan Walker from NRCS on the details of cover crops in grazing management.
Before lunch we will have an agricultural producer from Neosho County lead out in a discussion. After lunch, an agricultural producer from Crawford County is going to do a virtual tour of what he is doing. It’s a great opportunity to ask what worked, what were the issues with doing his production, and what ways he tackled the unexpected.
Evergy has kindly offered to sponsor our lunch for which we are very grateful. Please take time to talk to the representative from Evergy while at this event and pick his brain.
Since the whole event is inside, we will not need a rain date. The show will go on rain or shine.
