There’s a new meadow taking shape along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway at Goldsmith Street in Johnston, R.I. Over the past year, thousands of native pollinator plants have been installed, creating habitat for bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife while transforming the riverfront into a vibrant community space. Join the Goldsmith Friends Group for Meadow Madness, a community gathering at which you’ll learn about native plants, pollinators, and meadow ecosystems while connecting with neighbors and enjoying the Greenway.
