Creating Accessible Documents and PDF Remediation - Jun 2026

This event is an overview of accessibility for documents used in course content. We’ll cover how to create accessible documents, html workarounds, and some basic improvements for PDF accessibility. While html content is preferred, we'll cover how to set a language, fix titles, and alternative text, and the other basic accessibility pitfalls that come with PDFs.
This session is designed for faculty ready to dive into more advanced questions related to digital accessibility and their online course content. Attendance of a previous accessibility training is not required!
