Record-keeping and crop planning are two sides of the same organic compliance coin: your crop plan sets the intention for what you will grow and when, and your records prove what actually happened from seed to sale. In the first half of this workshop, we will cover why recordkeeping is required for organic certification, which records matter most, practical templates and peak-season habits that make inspections easier. In the second portion, we will delve into a practical guide to developing the right crop plan for your operation, examining all factors from finances to season extension.
