Applications Now Open for eLab’s 2026-27 Cohort!
Applications are now being accepted for eLab, Cornell’s student accelerator program! eLab is a credit-bearing student startup accelerator at Cornell University that launches about 12 real businesses each year.
Students and student teams with business ideas are encouraged to apply for the fall semester to participate in programming focused on customer discovery, pitching, and business model development. The program welcomes a large number of student teams in the fall semester and then narrows the cohort in the spring to the teams that have effectively identified a viable pathway to a scalable business. Students graduate with the experience, skills and connections to launch a successful company.
Admission into the program includes:
1:1 mentoring with experienced entrepreneurs
Opportunity to pitch the business publicly in NYC, San Francisco, and Ithaca.
Weekly classes, weekend bootcamps
Funding for customer discovery and initial investment into business
4.5 credits from the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business
Applications will be accepted through August 30, 2026. Juniors, seniors, graduate students, and PhD candidates are welcome to apply. Learn more and apply. Attend an information session to learn more about program requirements, schedule, benefits, and tips for making your application competitive.
If you have questions about eLab or the application process, please contact e-lab@cornell.edu
