Join us for a guided introduction to the art of ikebana — the traditional Japanese practice of minimalist floral design that emphasizes balance, line, and intentional placement.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create a fountain-style arrangement using a reusable kenzan (flower frog). This sculptural style highlights movement, negative space, and natural flow, allowing each stem to be placed with purpose and presence.

Participants will work with a curated selection of seasonal stems while being guided step-by-step through the design process. The experience is designed to be both creative and meditative, offering a calm space to slow down and connect with flowers in a meaningful way.

This workshop will be led by Lizzy Beller, owner of Bubbly Hills Farm, a flower farm located in Emmaus, PA.

Lizzie studied at the Rodale Institute, where she focused on floral production. She brings hands-on experience and a passion for growing and sharing flowers, and is excited to help others learn how to propagate and expand their own plants successfully.
