Are you interested in learning more about growing medicinal plants? Join local herbalist Meghan Henshaw in a living green classroom. The Melrose Medicinal Garden is a community garden located at 2647 Melrose Ave in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati. Garden workdays happen most Thursdays 10am-noon during the growing season.
Work alongside a team of volunteers weeding, harvesting, & caring for a plethora of medicinal perennials thriving in an urban greenspace. Each volunteer day, we work together on a variety of tasks, then enjoy herbal tea in the garden. Interested volunteers can email Meghan at ocotilloherbals@gmail.com to be added to a volunteer email list. Volunteers must RSVP at least 48 hours before each workday.
