State 4-H Horticulture Judging Contest - Aug 2026

The State 4-H Horticulture Judging Contest will be held Saturday, August 15, in Manhattan, hosted by the Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources.
Intermediates must be 9–13 and Seniors 14–18 before January 1 of the current year. The contest helps members build skills in thinking, reasoning, and making scientific judgments through plant identification, knowledge tests, and judging classes.
Registration information will be sent to local offices in late June 2026. Youth ages 9–18 are eligible. The link above includes study materials, past contests, and required forms.
