Making accessible mathematics content can be a challenge, especially when our standards tools and workflows can create significant barriers for those using assistive technologies. We’ll cover practical tools and strategies for improving the accessibility of mathematical content.

How screen readers read equationsHow to write alternative text for math graphs and plotsHow to create accessible data tables in documentsHow to enter math content accessibly in CanvasWe’re also excited to introduce Equatio, a mathematical digital application that enables users to create, edit, and share mathematical expressions, formulas, and equations and is available for K-State faculty to use.
