Noah and Gary Schlabach will be hosting a farm tour with OEFFA’s Grain Growers Chapter at their farm near Plain City, Ohio. They grow organic corn, soybeans, and wheat on more than 500 acres. Attendees will see their clover field, different farm equipment, and organic grain production up close.
The OEFFA Grain Growers Chapter is dedicated to the exchange of ideas and information for organic grain production, processing, and marketing. The chapter welcomes anyone with an interest in organic grain production to attend.
An OEFFA Grain Growers Chapter meeting will take place from 10-11:45 a.m. Please bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch starting at noon. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. The farm tour and discussion will begin at 1:30 p.m. Questions can be directed to bburgess@hirzel.com.
Parking will be available across the street from the farm’s address. Please use the address below to park and cross the road to get to the farm.
