Know Your Soil: Texture, Chemistry, Biology / Conoce su suelo: textura, composición química y biología
Soil is the foundation of everything you grow. This workshop introduces farmers to the physical, chemical, and biological dimensions of soil health. We’ll cover how to assess your soil texture with hands-on tests, how to read and interpret a soil lab report, and how the soil food web supports long-term farm resilience. By understanding what’s actually happening beneath your feet, you’ll be better equipped with regenerative practices to make informed decisions about how you cultivate. Pairs well with Feed Your Soil, Feed Your Plants, but attendance not required.
